PLAID SHIRT (similar) | RIPPED DENIM SHORTS | CHLOE CROSSBODY BAG | HEELS

This time around, wearing yet another favourite transitional piece for fall i.e. the universal plaid button-down. As many of may know, I love a good basic. Whenever I’m shopping for new pieces each season I keep an eyeout for the ones that have that special detail, whether it’s in the fabric, print or embellishment, something that really makes it special. This top is a great example of that. It’s not your typical red plaid shirt and what I love most about it is that it’s incredibly soft and comfortable, which is a perfect layering piece for the upcoming season.

If you’re looking to introduce plaid into your fall wardrobe, don’t be afraid to experiment with mixing and matching it with different textures and patterns. You’d be surprised that plaid is one of those patterns that can coexist so well with a variety of pieces. Think leather and denim or khaki paired with a cozy sweater. Just keep in mind that you dont want to go overboard with it either. Let it shine within your look while keeping it a little subtle. xoxo
