Hi lovelies! Happy Tuesday.

Giving my feet a rest today with sneakers and showcasing an easy breezy look from LNBF. You can check out my previous post here where I styled their active wear. I absolutely love their clothing and find their selection is perfect for lounge wear. When I am not in the mood to wear heels or jeans, I throw on their clothes to give myself a break for that super comfy, casual vibe. Here I am wearing the Jaime Cardigan and Liv Jogger with this top from Beyonce’s new line Ivy Park. Check out more of their clothing here.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day xoxo

Brunch with The Delilah Blog

| Photography by Abi from I Do Photography |
Met the sweetest fashion blogger who lives in the same city as me, Kristin from The Delilah Blog. We decided to meet up one Saturday and brunch at CaCao70 to talk fashion, food and life. We totally indulged on some goodies and I tried something a little different: the Italian Sausage Frittta. It was so delicious! Throughout our hangout, Kristin and I did a little Q + A so you guys can get to know her as well! Check it out below:

Tell me about your blog and how you got started?

Truly, when I started… I had no clue what I was doing! Nor did I do any sort of research into the world of fashion blogging, so I was really diving off of a cliff blindfolded. I have always loved writing, fashion, and photography… One day after an afternoon of “Pinterest-ing” I was inspired to have a little fashion show photo-shoot of my own! It all sort of came to me at once – to start a blog… So I did! Once I “hit the water” so to speak, I realized what an amazing industry it is – fashion blogging – and the community that it can develop, especially amongst local bloggers. I have recently re-branded from Sincerely, K.P. to The Delilah Blog – and you can read more about why I did so, and how I came up with my new name in the “About Me” section of my blog!

How would you describe your own personal style?

Generally speaking, I would say that I embrace the fashion of an “everyday style guru.” Meaning that although I don’t shop all brand-name everything, I like to look my best and feel fashionable, but on an everyday woman’s budget. I want my audience to feel like my closet is attainable for them, too, even if they can’t afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a single piece. Of course, there are those classic staples that require a splurge!

What are your favourite trends for this season?

I am in LOVE with the white sneaker trend – my personal favourite is white Converse – and anything floral for spring/summer!

Who do you look to for fashion cues?

To be honest, I look all around me! Especially to my fellow fashion bloggers (like you, Zivanka!), and other fashionable friends who encompass similar values in style. Another big inspiration is Pinterest – although it sometimes takes a big of digging and scrolling to find those outfits that I really love, it is totally worth it!

If you had to pick one thing you couldn’t live without, what would it be and why?

Oh, this is such a difficult question! But I think I have to go with a great pair of skinny jeans (my favourites are from Zara!). I say this because jeans are the ultimate piece that can be dressed up or down – pair them with sneakers and a tee and it’s the classic casual look. Throw on some heels and a feminine top, and you’re ready for date night!

What’s your next fashion must-have?

I’ve got my eye on that Chloe purse… I’m coming for you! 🙂

When you can’t think of anything to wear, what is your go-to outfit?

For spring and summer, my go-to outfit is a sundress (this year, definitely floral!) and a pair of comfortable wedges (just bought the cutest pair from Forever21!).

What are the next steps for The Delilah Blog? What are your aspirations?

A new chapter has just begun for me with The Delilah Blog, and I am so excited to see where it goes! It feels like I just put my foot down from my last “step,” so what’s next? I would love to make more connections with other local bloggers (and non-locals, too!), work with new brands that reflect my style and values, and ultimately grow more as a blogger with a unique voice and relatable fashion. So far this journey has been really fun, and I’m just excited to see where it leads me in the future!

Let’s Talk Hair: Kérastase PARIS Réflection Line

KerastaseBain Chroma CaptiveChroma Captive MasqueFondant Chroma Captive

As long as I can remember, I’ve experimented with my hair. Remember ‘sun-in’? Oh yeah! I was 10 when I tried that trend lol. Now as an adult my hair will go though phases just as the seasons change. Summer it’s balayage while through the winter I switch back to my natural, dark hair. I find that as I dye or bleach my hair, I lose moisture and shine overtime, and my colour tends to fade, especially if I am not using the right products.

Over the years, I’ve learned some tips and tricks on how to maintain my colour while keeping my hair as healthy as possible. As much as I love the Kevin Murphy line, Kérastase Paris has done wonders to my hair.

The Réflection Bain Chroma Captive is my go-to when it comes to maintaining and protecting my hair colour. It cleanses and smoothes the hair while adding shine and I love that you don’t need a lot for a great lather.

Because I colour my hair quite often, I love using masques to treat my hair. I apply the Réflection Masque Chroma Captive after using the Réflection Bain Chroma Captive and leave it on for about 10 minutes so my hair can reap all of it’s benefits. Not only does it add shine, it also prolongs my hair colour. I found that this specific masque also added more hydration to my strands so once my hair was styled, it looked healthier and fuller.

Another product that I love within the Réflection line is the Fondant Chroma Captive. It’s a rinse out treatment that protects your colour-treated hair. I usually use this when I feel that my hair doesn’t need an intense masque or when I just want to use a lighter treatment for that extra boost of shine.

And that’s it. My secret’s out! These are honestly one of the best investments you can make for your hair, especially if you are looking to maintain your hair colour.

Head over to Kérastase to see how other fans of this line are loving these products. You can check out my previous review on another line from Kérastase here.

Have you tried the Réflection line? Let me know below. xoxo
