A couple of weekends ago I got the chance to stay in a gorgeous chalet in Blue Mountain for my girlfriend’s birthday. I’ve always wanted to check it out, but never had the opportunity to go. It was a lot of fun and a much needed weekend away from the city. If you haven’t been to Blue Mountain I definitely recommend it as there is so much to do! If you love skiing or snowboarding you can hit the slopes until the evening or take a stroll in the village during the day and check out the cute shops. Ps. they have Beavertail! 🙂 Since it was pretty cold out I was happy to stay warm in my Canada Goose
coat and added a couple of layers underneath. Looking forward to going again next year! 🙂

My favourite piece bought this past fall was this Apiece Apart Detachable Turtleneck
. I mean the colour, fabric and silhouette were too perfect to turn away! Not to mention I love green so this tone suited my skin tone perfectly. One of the best things about this sweater, that you don’t see very often, is that the neck is detachable! It was a bit of a splurge buying it, but I was able to justify it knowing this sweater would get a lot of wear for seasons to come.
I love keeping my outfits simple. I love being able to add accessories later on especially if I want to dress up my outfit or keep it casual with basic staples like a good pair of jeans and simple pumps. For today’s outfit I paired my sweater with my 7 For All Mankind jeans and my new favourite pumps from Lord & Taylor. I wrote about it here
where you can find the link to purchase it on sale. 🙂
What are some of your favourite sweaters for the season? Would love to hear below!
Have a great weekend! xoxo
