How To Get Healthy, Shiny Hair

Shiny Healthy Hair

Simple beauty solutions don‚Äôt come easy especially when it comes to hair. With so many products on the market, it becomes overwhelming to find the right products for your hair type. Not to mention if it will work with your hair which is why it’s always good to have an arsenal of solutions to tackle those difficult hair days.

Shiny Hair 2

This was in the summer before I chopped my hair into a lob. ūüôā

Living in Toronto has helped me with that! We experience dry winters to hot summers year round. My advice for healthy, shiny hair is to feed your hair. Your hair needs the right nutrition from the right products just like your body does with eating right. I’ve been religiously rotating between “Kevin Murphy” & “Living Proof” products. I love them! It’s honestly the reason my hair looks healthy and strong. I am also a fan of the fact that they have made their products¬†sulphate free, paraben free & cruelty free. It means less damage to your hair and to animals while their products actually make your hair look and feel better.

Here are my favorites from both lines (from left to right shown above):

Have you tried any products from the Living Proof or Kevin Murphy line? Let me know in the comments below.

Have a great day! xx

Wool Coat X Autumn Staples

I love Fall. It’s the time of year where you can start layering pieces and pull out your favourite fall coats. The one I am wearing in today’s post is from¬†Mackage. It’s my go to when I want to feel comfortable and still keep a classic vibe when I am on the go. I paired my Mackage coat with my Citizens of Humanity jeans¬†and black pumps. What I love about this¬†coat is that you can dress it up or go for a relaxed weekend look by wearing pants, flats and a comfy sweater. ¬†Now to find the perfect colored¬†camel coat. What’s your favourite fall staple? Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! xx

Fall Weekend Essentials

Pumpkin spiced lattes, cozy sweaters and warm, wool jackets are my favourite thing about October. I recently just bought and fell in love with this green APiece Apart Turtleneck¬†from Intermix. One of my favourite things about this sweater is¬†the detachable neck. One sweater, TWO ways; such a great concept. I can’t wait to incorporate it into different outfits for the coming cold weather. Also love the Vince Coat¬†and Henley Duffle¬†that you can just throw on, grab and go.
